From stuck to a starting point

Your family. Your questions.
Your time with an expert.

01

Bring what you know.

Tell your expert what you want to explore. Have your tree, relevant records, or DNA matches ready to share.

02

Work through it together.

Meet live in your research workspace. Follow the shared screen and ask questions as each clue is explored.

03

Know where to go next.

Leave with a recap of the evidence, unanswered questions, and useful next steps. Book more time when you need it.

A few things you might be wondering.

What if I have barely started my family tree?

That's a good time to ask for help. Bring a few names, places or dates, and the question you'd like to explore. A short session can help you decide where to begin.

Will my expert definitely solve my question?

Some questions take several sessions or depend on records that haven't survived. The aim is to assess the evidence together, explain what can be established, and identify the next useful step.

Is this a monthly subscription?

No. This concept offers individual private sessions of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours, and separately priced masterclass tickets.

How are private sessions different from masterclasses?

A private session focuses on your family and your questions. A masterclass teaches a research skill to a group, with a shared screen, expert audio, and live questions.

What do I need for a session?

A browser, an internet connection and speakers or headphones. Bring links or copies of relevant records and a clear question. In a real service, your expert would explain access permissions before reviewing your tree.
